Affiliate Disclosure

Our promise

AbroadPath Africa is free to read. To keep it that way, we earn money from advertising and, sometimes, from affiliate links.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a special link to a product or service (for example an English test preparation course, travel insurance, flights, or a money-transfer app). If you click it and buy something, we may earn a small commission. You never pay extra because of our link.

How we choose what to recommend

  • We only recommend products or services we believe are genuinely useful for people on our three paths.
  • Earning a commission never changes the facts in our guides. Official rules always come from official government sources.
  • We never accept payment to recommend visa agents, recruiters or anyone promising guaranteed visas or jobs.

How you’ll know

Any guide that contains affiliate links shows this note at the top: This post contains affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Sponsored posts are clearly labelled “Sponsored”.

Advertising

We show ads through Google AdSense. Google chooses which ads appear; we don’t endorse every product advertised. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies work and how to opt out of personalised ads.
